Me llamo Ronl Tauro y recientemente fui en un viaje misionero a Perú durante las vacaciones de primavera. Trabajamos en un colegio en Perú y fuimos testigos de la inocencia pura en la forma de niños tan felices y alegres. En este viaje, aprendí a entregar mis luchas a Dios y a confiar completamente en Él, ya que también teníamos que trabajar en la construcción durante 4 a 5 horas diarias, lo cual era difícil. Fue realmente transformador aprender tanto de niños tan pequeños. Solo experimentar su inocencia me hizo darme cuenta de que nuestra felicidad no tiene que ser condicional. También tuvimos la oportunidad de realizar sátiras divertidas para los niños y ayudarlos a aprender más acerca de Dios, lo cual fue realmente una experiencia increíble y llegamos a hablar con la gente alrededor del área y preguntar acerca de sus luchas en la vida, lo cual fue triste y alentador. En general, mi viaje misionero a Perú fue muy transformador ya que llegué a experimentar la felicidad pura en la pobreza.
My name is Ronl Tauro and I recently went on a mission trip to Peru over spring break. We worked at a school in Peru and we got to witness pure innocence in the form of such happy and joyful kids. On this trip, I learned how to truly give up my struggles to God and completely place my trust in him as we also had to work in construction for 4 to 5 hours everyday which was hard. It was truly transforming to learn so much from such small kids. Just experiencing their innocence made me realize that our happiness doesn’t have to be conditional. We also had the opportunity to perform fun skits for the children and help them learn more about God which was truly an amazing experience and we got to talk to the people around the area and ask about their struggles in life which was sad and heartening. Overall, my mission trip to Peru was very transforming as I got to experience pure happiness in poverty.
